On 19 April 2021, the DHPS Netball U17A team showed off their talents again:

Within a friendly game against Windhoek Gymnasium´s U17B team the young sporty talents were thinking fast, showed incredible fitness, defended very well and almost every shot was in. The score of 20 – 13 for the DHPS netball players was well deserved.

“We knew if we wanted to win, it was not only important to defend very well but we also worked really hard at intercepting balls,” says DHPS Netball Coach Lize-Mari Esterhuyse.

The Khomas Netball School League is expected to take place in July. Until then the DHPS netball players look forward to play friendly matches against other high school teams to prepare themselves for the netball league. The next game will take place on 22 April against Windhoek International School and we will keep our fingers crossed.
