The SOUPer Bowl
At the end of July, the grade 11 learners, kindly supported by parents and teachers, organised a “SOUPer Bowl” event as a fundraiser towards their graduation ball in 2023.
Dubbed “Sip, Soup and Sounds” the event attracted a good number of people, who enjoyed selecting one of the handmade bowls, filling it with butternut or goulash soup, getting a drink, sitting and chatting, listening to some live classical music and taking part in the raffle where one could win a giant bowl filled with fresh lemons.
The bowls had been individually pottered by a group of DHPS Grade 11 learners and parents over several Saturdays, a great way to learn more about one another and form stronger bonds.
