The Pupkewitz Foundation Interschools Gala 2023 was held at the Olympia Municipal Swimming Pool in Windhoek from 27 to 28 October 2023.

Despite the limited time for preparation, DHPS swimmers delivered exceptional performances.
The primary section's boys and girls secured the first-place position, while the five swimmers representing the DHPS senior section secured a commendable third place in their respective categories.
This annual swimming gala is sponsored by the Pupkewitz Foundation, with prize money awarded to the top-performing schools. The DHPS sports department decided to use these funds to buy pool noodles for grades 1 and 2.
Aiden Diehl set a new record in the boys under 10 50m backstroke. The boys Under 19 relay team, consisting of Robin Engelhard, Daniel Lasso Drews, Max Krafft and Oliver Altmann, also set a new relay record. Congratulations!
The sports team was very pleased with the results, is proud of all DHPS swimmers and would like to thank all participants and parents for their great support this weekend.
A special thank you goes to the parents who helped as timekeepers and judges.
