On the first weekend of March, DHPS, on behalf of the AGDS, hosted the newly renamed cultural festival, the “Festival of the German Language.” The theme for this eventful weekend was The Jungle Book.
Following a warm and successful welcome evening on Friday, the entire Saturday was filled with jungle‑themed activities: swinging from vines, climbing trees, crawling through branches, dancing, singing, crafting, decorating and rehearsing a complete theatre play.
At the grand finale on Saturday evening, guests were amazed at what the 10‑ to 14‑year‑old participants had accomplished in such a short time.
We would like to thank all organisers and accompanying adults for this wonderful weekend together, which will remain a fond memory for all of us.
