One last time setting up the cones, one last time getting the balls out for the warm-up, one last time the line-up, one last time the pre-match speech. With the farewell game against their favourite opponent Amazing-Kids on 14 March 2022, an era comes to an end.
For 4 years DHPS soccer coach Tom Wegener trained the DHPS girls with ever increasing success. While the 2019 opener finished with a hard-fought 1-1, the farewell game ended with an incredible 12-0 with many former stars such as Maya Stange, Bibi Maasdorp, Uemumuna Mieze, Ashley Linda and a very solid defence led by playmaker Sheya Haukongo.
Well done, girls! Comeback not impossible.
