On 17/03/2022, DHPS celebrated the "Cultural Day" on the occasion of Namibian Independence Day. This time, the motto of the day was the first guiding principle in the DHPS mission statement, "Unity in diversity - different cultures learning together", and language diversity.

Instructed by the subject teachers, grade 1 - 12 learners explored the linguistic diversity in their own class and elaborated on the results. Exchange with each other made them realise that their cultural background in terms of language differs from that of their classmates, but that they also have a lot in common.

On the Cultural Day, DHPS learners swap their school clothes for traditional outfits from around the world and immerse the DHPS campus in a colourful hustle and bustle.
