For our DHPS Child & Youth Centre, the holidays mean FUN WAYS TO LEARN.

While everyone else was thinking about what to do during the August holidays, the Child and Youth Centre was excited about all things Banana: We took on a journey of discovery into the life of the banana, from seed to plate.
A discovery of the many ways in which the banana plant has an impact on our environment. Along the way, we visited Rent a Drum for tips on how to be smart about our waste. We also paid a visit to Namib Mills to appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into the production of our very own food. And to find out what it really means to feed a nation. All the while taking time to play and create strong bonds.
