A special Christmas holiday programme is currently offered at the Child & Youth Centre. Christmas cookies are just as much a part of the Christmas season as gifts - and when the cookies are homemade, they taste even better. The greatest joy is when you can make others happy with them. This week, 14 children spent 2 days kneading and rolling out dough, cutting and colourfully decorating biscuits. Luckily, no one got a stomach ache from all the tasting. In the end, there was a lot of excitement when we took 2 baskets full of biscuits to the Susanne-Grau retirement home on Wednesday morning, sang Christmas carols with the seniors and listened to a story.
Now we are spending the rest of the week by the pool in Christmas weather, enjoying the last few cookies.
