Although faced with
special challenges, grade 12 learners of the NSSC branch prepared for the
German Language Diploma Level II examinations again this year, scheduled at the
same time as the Abitur examinations on 22/10 and 23/10.
Topics such as poverty
in Germany and Namibia, e-sports, renewable energies in Namibia, genetic
engineering, quality of life or problems of the beauty industry were the focus
of the presentations during the oral examinations. The examinees' board of this
examination, which is recognised and supervised by the KMK, was very impressed
by the high level of the German language among the learners.
In the context of
speech competitions, everyday discussions in the schoolyard or with the school
management, as well as in the corresponding examinations, our special language
talents repeatedly demonstrate that the German language is an integral part of
the diverse academic education at the DHPS.
For some of our candidates this
lays the basis for studying or training in Germany and thus the start of an
international future.
