The DHPS invites scholars and other activists to join around 100 students in the #FridaysforFuture global strike on Friday, the 20th of September 2019.

The march will begin at 11 o’ clock and follow the route from DHPS main entrance (Church Street) onto Independence Avenue, stopping at Cramer’s Ice Cream Shop/ SlowTown Coffee Roasters (new FNB building), continuing up Fidel Castro Street towards the Parliament Gardens.

At this point the demonstrators will meet other groups like the “#FridaysforFuture Windhoek” Group as well as scholars from other schools (Waldorf School, Holy Cross Convent, Delta School).

The aim of these organized demonstrations are to raise awareness among not only the public but also specifically the government in order to push for a sustainable future.
