The Namibian para-athletes achieved outstanding results in the IPC Para-athletics Grand Prix in Berlin on 30 June and 01 July 2018. Besides bringing 2 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals to Namibia a few of the upcoming athletes also set their new personal bests.

The three elite-athletes Johannes Nambala and Ananias Shikongo with guide Even Tjiviju made us proud by winning gold and are once again a great role model for Namibian youngsters.

The DHPS Olympic team also benefitted from their great expertise and the learners received professional support during their preparations for the Sports Olympiad of the German schools abroad: The Paralympics athletes Shikongo and Nambala offered the young athletes important training tips and valuable advice from stretching and warming up to the perfect sprint.
