As part of our weekly topic on professions, we have invited the parents of our children to the pre-school. They gave us an exciting and informative insight into their professional world.
One father explained everything about his job as a project leader for the disposal of ecological pollution at the Deutsche Bahn (German railway) in a very child-friendly way and with a demonstration in the sandpit. For example, we observed with great curiosity how holes in petrol tanks can be located and repaired.
Another couple presented the profession of journalists in a playful way. The children were actively involved and supported in handling a microphone and camera to compile a report on the sports olympiad. The children enthusiastically gave interviews and practised being camera kids and reporters.
