Construction work of our new sports gym progresses rapidly: The building contractors took the opportunity to present the progress to invited guests during the roof-wetting ceremony on 14 November 2017 and celebrated with the architects and school representatives.

Traditional roof-wetting slogans in the builders’ jargon by contractor Hans-Peter Schulz (Namibia Construction), architect Eckhard Siedentopf and our principal Kristin Eichholz, signposted the pride in the project and the extensive renovation of the indoor and outdoor areas.

Completion of the construction work, which was made possible by the financial support of the Federal Foreign office of Germany, is anticipated in the first semester of 2018 - and judging by the roof-wetting wreath on the roof ridge, clearly visible from Trift Street, and the shards, promising tons of luck, constructions will hopefully progress smoothly and we may look forward to state-of-the-art and unique sports facilities in Namibia.
