School Olympiad 2018: Athletics in great team spirit and a frisky vibe

After some swimming records were broken on first competition day of the 17th Sports Olympiad of German Schools in Southern Africa, team spirit was in the foreground on the evening of 17 September 2018. Latest during games and team tasks with “Teambuild Namibia” the last ice among the athletes, learners and teachers was broken.

This new sense of community was clearly noticeable on the second day of the competition and the cross-team motivation to overcome personal best times and heights was remarkable.
