Reading project: Great stories from primary school for kindergarden

Twice already, the learners from Grade 4 enriched our daily routine and the kindergarten children with stories. Since the beginning of February, the “big kids” visit the kindergarten on a regular basis.

First of was Ms Krenz’s class. The learners shared little duckling stories and we wondered: How did the stone tower collapse? Was it the fox? Did it collapse by itself? Was it the bear? And why did the badger scream? One fight, three perspectives and lots of reasons to listen to one another.

Next up was Ms Hammer during her English lesson. Every learner prepared a book so that suddenly almost no child was left playing on the playground. It was a busy humming and buzzing until (unfortunately) the kindergarten children had to clean up.

We are looking forward to more dedicated readers!
