Proceeds of Casual Day go to Autism Association Namibia

Already during the last school year, the idea of a new funding project was born, which was now implemented as part of a “Casual Day”, a school-uniform-free day.

The Student Representative Council of the Deutsche Höhere Privatschule Windhoek (DHPS), who has already promoted projects to protect rhinos, soup kitchens and disadvantaged children, decided to support the Autism Association Namibia. In frame of the “Casual Day", funds to the amount of N$3800.- were raised.

“The donations will be used mainly for renovation work and daily optimisation of the centre of the Namibian autism association", Petra Dillman, head of the Autism Association, reveals. “The water supply and the kitchen sink must urgently be be renovated and maybe the money is enough to replace some windows.”

This explains the great appreciation for the SRC fund raising campaign, which was rounded off with the hand-over on 30/11/2017.
