On the weekend of 26 and 27 October 2018, the National Interschool Swimming Gala was held at the Katutura outdoor pool.

The boys and girls of the primary section have reached second place behind the St. Pauls primary section. The DHPS secondary section also finished second overall behind the St. Pauls secondary section.

This gala is each year sponsored by Pupkewitz and is intended to motivate all learners to participate. Since 2017, the best three schools receive a cash prize.

In the relays, the DHPS achieved the firth place four times, second place five times and third place twice.

The sports department is satisfied with the results and thanks all participants and their parents for the great support.
