On the weekend of 20 and 21 October 2017, the national inter-school swimming gala was held at the Olympia swimming pool.
The girls and boys of the primary section were ranked second with 596.50 points, after St. Paul's primary section, who achieved 795.50 points. The DHPS senior section was first overall with 428 points, ahead of the St Paul's senior section with 238 points.
Like every year, the swimming gala is sponsored by the Pupkewitz company and we were very happy about the prize money of N$ 5000.-
This money will be used to buy new pool noodles and swimming boards for the swimming lessons.
The sports department is very satisfied with the results and thanks all participants and everyone involved for their great support. Our special thanks also to those parents, who helped as timekeepers or judges.
