“Light a candle” was the motto on Thursday, 20.07.2017 on the DHPS sports grounds.

When darkness fell and the last light was turned off, the children could hardly wait to surprise their moms and dads with their light dance. For weeks, our small ones had crafted colourful lights and practiced dance steps to calm music. In star-shaped rows, the children of two same age groups walked towards each other and put their lights down into shells. When all children had gathered in the middle of the shining lights, all sang the song “Zünd ein Licht an” (light a candle) together and created a very special harmonious atmosphere.

A great buffet was compiled from the delicious food supplied by the visitors and the evening ended in an inspiring atmosphere with great food and drinks and good conversations. Many thanks to all who have contributed to this great festival.
