The DHPS Judo team travelled to Swakopmund on 9 and 10 March for a judo event. The Privatschule Swakopmund also plans to offer a judo-extra-mural with local Sensei Nic Kolbe. In addition to a successful judo show, the DHPS judokas had the opportunity to take the role of a coach. They had the chance to teach PSS-learners judo techniques. This was a great success. The trip was complemented by a sporting program. In perfect weather we played beach soccer and -volleyball and went jogging along the jetty. Of course we also had judo training at the Swakopmund Fight Club. Not only the unfamiliar training location, but also Sensei Nic and his judokas made this an exciting sporting event.
