On 25 and 26 July our book fair was held in the DHPS library.

The "Swakopmunder Buchhandlung”and “Anre's Book” with their huge selection of German, English and Afrikaans books for children and teenagers, attracted many bookworms and visitors.

Together with their classes, learners spent their lessons and event devoted their precious breaks in the library.

“Especially our younger learners showed great interest and even returned with their parents in the afternoon”, says Annegret Fechter, the head librarian. “The two bookshops were well prepared and offered exactly the books that are currently of interest to the learners.”

We are delighted that the book fair was such great success and would like to thank Swakopmunder Buchhandlung and Anre's Books for their visit and their fantastic support.
