The national Pupkewitz Interschools Swimming Gala took place at the Katutura swimming pool on 25 and 26 October. This year, 18 schools with a total of 752 participants competed in the event.
In the end, the DHPS boys and girls from the primary section took second place with 505 points, while the winner, St. Pauls juniors, achieved 532 points. The DHPS secondary section ended first overall with 582 points, ahead of St. Pauls secondary section with 352 points.

Pupkewitz is the annual sponsor of this gala and awarded us a prize money of N$ 5000. This will be used for new school bathing caps and swimming boards.
The sports department is very pleased with the results and thanks all participants and parents for the great support. Congratulations to all our swimmers!
