Successful outcome of school inspection at DHPS![]() At the end of the so called German-Federal-State-Inspection which lasted from 11 to 15 April 2011 the DHPS was awarded the seal of excellence.The German Private Senior Secondary School, DHPS, has done it again – and this time better than ever before! The seal of excellence was now handed over by German ambassador to Namibia Mr. Egon Kochanke.Handing over ceremony 27.09.2011From 11 to 15 April the so called German-Federal-State-Inspection (BLI) was carried out at the DHPS. Ms Schröder-Klein, Mr Niebling and Dr Brüser-Sommer inspected the school according to a number of criteria such as results and achievements of the school, the quality of the teaching and learning processes, the school culture, the school management and school administration, the professionalism of teachers and the development of quality. The outstanding result officially confirms that the DHPS is an excellent German School Abroad about to receive the ‘Seal of Excellence’ for German Schools Abroad signed by the German President Wulff.The whole school community appreciates this accolade. For the preparation for the inspection and its implementation have once again shown that we as DHPS-family stand together and are able to jointly work on targets and reach them.We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who were significantly involved in the inspection – be it the pupils, the teachers, the parents, the school management and administration, the caretakers, the board of directors, the parents’ association or the steering committee. Special thanks go to Ms Hailer and Mrs Uhrich who virtually worked day and night to get everything ready for the inspection. We are very pleased with the result of the inspection and proud to be part of this school.
