The DHPS hostel fair took place on 18 March 2010 and was a really successful and completely harmonious event.
A jumping castle, water slide, fuffy slide, ghost train,knights´ castle, soccer wall and tin throws as wellasa very successful Volleyball tournament added to theentertainment. A variety of steak- and sausage Brötchen,coffee and cake and a tasteful “braai” in the eveningmade sure that nobody went hungry. The craft marketoffered a wide variety of items and made a lot of sales.
Head boy Gero Talkenberg, head girl Claudia Mattle,the hostel SRC team and the light and sound team deservegreat praise for their work, for organizing the Volleyballtournament and creating a great atmosphere with theirwide variety of music.
The “official” part of the hostel fair ended with thedraw of the raffle tickets. The first prize was a hamperwith farm products and five more attractive prizes,all donated by the hostel parents, could be won. Abig "Thank You" to all donors, hostel parents- andgrandparents families, visitors and helping hands.
