Business Studies are compulsory subjects in Grade 9.This gives learners enough knowledge to make an informed choice for their final subject choice for grade 10 to 12. From grade 10 learners have the option to take Accounting or Business Studies as one of the six prescribed subjects. As these two subjects compliment each other, it is also possible to choose one as a sixth and the other as a seventh subject. The final examination that is written in grade 12 is the Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate. Both subjects can be taken on higher or ordinary level.
