The sections of our boarding facilities

The boarding school is divided into seven hostel groups which currently accommodate 115 students.

Most of the children are at home on a farm many hundred kilometers away from Windhoek.  During school time the hostel becomes their second home. Some of the children even stay at the hostel on weekends because their home is just too far away. Therefore the hostel is also open on weekends. Besides students of DHPS the hostel also accommodates students of other local schools  e.g. Waldorf Schule, Combretum and International School.

Our day care center "Tintenklecks" offers professional day care facilities!

The boarding facilities comprise of two sections:

•  the hostel section for the little ones also known as the Ruth-Albrecht-Heim Theater AG and
•  the hostel section for the elder children
