DHPS Library

The library of the DHPS

Students, teachers, kindergarten personnel, supervisors and members of the admin department of Deutscher Schulverein Windhoek have the opportunity to use the library free of charge.

The team of the library, a qualified school librarian and an assistant offers professional advice to the visitor. The librarians do not only offer the normal library duties but emphasize also the research on the internet as well as research for specific subjects or topics when doing projects.

The library is divided into three sections:

  • The school library consists of extensive reading and learning material and is open during lessons and in the afternoon
  • Teachers can choose from about 3000 editions in the section for teachers
  • The third section is the textbooks for the students and the prescribed literature for the different language studies, complete for a whole grade.
